Finally, I’m back from Paris and London! Phew, that was a long trip…
I was in Paris again with the husband for another work event, and after that we took our first trip to London. Oh, did I mention that we brought his mum along?
The words ‘mother-in-law’ and ‘vacation’ don’t usually go together, but my mother-in-law is very nice and we get along with really well so it was great!
You know what else is great? Getting the chance to check out 4 different studios in Paris and London!
All I can say right now is, thank goodness I got some pole time in, because I love the butter in France. And the croissants. And the baguettes. And the cheese! And the pastries!! And the chocolate!!!
And don’t even get me started on how much I ate in London…
Anyway, I got home on Monday night and promptly headed back to the studio for classes on Tuesday. And Wednesday. (Today is Thursday)
Because after missing the first 2 weeks of term, I have a LOT of catching up to do. And also because… there is nothing like Bobbi’s Pole Studio!!!
Yes, I’m totally biased of course, but after visiting 6 different pole studios in 4 countries now, (Tokyo in Japan, Manila in the Philippines, Paris in France, and London in the UK) I still feel that Bobbi’s is very unique.
So I’m really glad to be back! Even though I woke up this morning aching all over.
And even though all it took was 5 minutes in Prep Advanced for me to remember how painful it is. (Squeezing all the big tricks into one long-ass combo that happens within the first 30 seconds of ‘Unforgiven’ is hard core!)
Good thing I’m booked in for a private class this Saturday, cos my DVD cover still needs some serious training. Now if I can only stop waking up from 430 – 7am in the morning, my life will almost be back to normal…
