Guess what? It’s been a whole year since I started this little blog and wrote my very first pole dancing blog post!
Back then, I wasn’t sure if anyone would read it, let alone care about what an unknown pole newbie like me would have to say. I wasn’t even sure if it was a good idea to be talking about a topic like pole dancing, and there were rather few active, personal pole blogs out there at the time.
So much has changed since then though! Nowadays, I worry so much less about what people think about my pole obsession. After all, you’ve gotta be pretty obsessed about pole to start an entire blog dedicated to it right?
Well I’m in really good company now! There are cool new pole blogs springing up everywhere and from all over the world, written by seasoned instructors, professional performers, and fresh new pole students, and I love discovering them all. (pole-a-holic bloggers, unite!)
And I wasn’t really expecting to receive any presents, but boy did I get an awesome one yesterday…
One of my proudest moments as a blogger came late last year when my interview with Rodney James, aka ‘Mr Burlesque’ was accepted and published on the Bad Kitty Blog, which I’m a huge fan of. (Aerial Amy and Claire Griffin Sterret of the The Pole Story, both pole blog idols of mine, are regular guest bloggers there.)
Anyway, since I recently had the pleasure of interviewing both the legendary Bobbi of Bobbi’s Pole Studio, and Cleo The Hurricane, current Miss Pole Dance Australia, I pitched that idea to the Bad Kitty blog too.
What I never imagined was that they’d respond by extending an invitation for me to be a regular guest blogger for them!!!

I’m still in a state of semi-disbelief, and I also keep ridiculously worrying that it was all just a dream and that I’ll wake up soon and go ‘Aw… Crap!!’ just like that time when I dreamed I was doing the perfect Candy shoulder mount a few months ago.
But anyway. I’ll stop rambling, cos I know y’all are like, “Whatever b*tch, where’s the freaking Bobbi interview already?!?”
And it’s coming, it’s coming! And it’ll be worth the death glare I can feel you giving me right through the screen.
But not before you read the interview with Cleo. Which I will post up tomorrow. Pinky-finger promise!
Oh and, Thanks for reading!!!
